new kids on the block...

I've been playing around with red clay lately and working with slip too, both of which I don't have a whole lot of experience with. There is something about this "messy" look that I like and I have to say I have been having a great time making them! I feel like I don't need to worry (which I seem to be famous for, you know, it's that precious pot syndrome) when I make them. The process is easy and goes quickly and yields some nice results I think.

I had some slides shot at RIT the other day of some new work that I think really turned out well.
Finally some new kids who will be sent out for show submissions!
